Admin Portal Overview

What the Claira Admin Portal is, who can open it, how you get there from Nuix Discover, and how a session works.
Admin Portal Overview
The Admin Portal is the console for everything that spans your whole organization rather than one case: every case Claira runs in, the people who use it, their roles and permissions, the partner invoice, email routing, and the Discover portals Claira accepts sessions from. It lives at app.claira.to and opens from Claira inside Nuix Discover.
Who can open it
Only organization admins can open the Admin Portal. Your organization's first admin is set up with Claira when the portal is enabled for you; admins then promote further admins on the Users screen.
If you are not an organization admin, the menu item still appears, but choosing it shows who your organization's admins are so you know whom to ask.
Opening the portal
- Open Claira in any case in Nuix Discover.
- Open the menu in the Claira panel and choose Manage organization.
- A new tab opens at app.claira.to and lands on a Verified card showing your name, organization, role and region.
- Choose Continue to Overview.
There is no separate sign-in and no password. Your Discover session vouches for you: the link carries a one-time code that is valid for two minutes and can be used once.
How a session works
- A session ends after 30 minutes without activity, and after 8 hours at most. Reopen the portal from Claira in Discover at any time.
- A session belongs to the browser tab you opened it in. Opening the portal in another tab means opening it from Discover again.
- Changing someone's role signs that person out of the portal; they pick up the new role on their next visit.
- If the portal does not open ("This link is invalid or has expired"), go back to Discover and choose Manage organization again — the previous link was already used or timed out.
Region and currency
Your region is the Discover deployment your cases run in, and the portal shows it, read-only, on the Verified card and under Settings. Prices and invoices are in your region's currency. Customer content stays in its region: the portal's address only delivers the application, and everything you see is fetched from your region directly by your browser.
