Plans and Billing

This guide explains how to complete Plans and Billing in Claira with a repeatable, audit-ready workflow.

Before you begin

  • Ensure the case is connected and active (appears in Claira and accepts new runs).
  • Confirm required review fields (the destination fields for AI outputs) are created and visible.
  • Confirm your review protocol (your team's quality and approval checklist) is documented.
  • Confirm your coding language (standard labels/taxonomy reviewers must apply) is agreed by the team.

Step-by-step

  1. Open claira.to, then select Cases and open the target case.
  2. In the case workspace, open the feature area for Plans and Billing from the left navigation.
  3. In Settings, choose the model/template, then map outputs to the correct review fields.
  4. Click Run sample, process 10-25 documents, and verify output quality in the results panel.
  5. If quality is acceptable, click Run bulk (or the equivalent full-run action) and monitor job status.
  6. Open Results > Export, select format and date range, then download and archive with run metadata.

Example

Example validation check: run a 20-document sample containing known positive and negative examples, then confirm at least 3 known benchmark documents are classified exactly as expected before scaling.

Tips

  • Keep one saved configuration per use case to reduce setup drift.
  • Record model, template, and field mapping choices in your matter log for auditability.
  • When results vary unexpectedly, rerun the same sample before changing multiple settings at once.

Billing glossary and example

  • Reservoir cap: The maximum prepaid token balance your workspace can hold.
  • Daily replenish: The automatic daily top-up amount applied when your balance is below target.
  • Bulk task limit: The maximum number of documents or jobs you can submit in one bulk run.

Example: if your reservoir cap is 10,000 tokens, your current balance is 7,500 tokens, and your daily replenish is 2,000 tokens, the next replenish adds 2,000 tokens (new balance: 9,500), not 2,500, because daily replenish controls the increment.
