Custom Prompts

User-facing guidance for Claira.

Custom Prompts

Use custom prompts when built-in templates do not fully match your case requirements.

TODO: Screenshot - custom prompt editor with validation panel and mapped fields.

Before you start

  • Define the exact output format needed by reviewers.
  • Confirm field mappings and required permissions are in place.
  • Prepare a benchmark sample set for quality checks.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Prompting > Create custom prompt.
  2. Write instructions with explicit allowed values and output format.
  3. Map outputs to review fields and save as a named template version.
  4. Run a small sample, review false positives/negatives, and revise.
  5. Promote the prompt to production only after reviewer sign-off.

Example

Example objective: classify privilege as YESPRIV or NOTPRIV and include one evidence sentence for reviewer validation.
