Custom Prompts
User-facing guidance for Claira.
Custom Prompts
Use custom prompts when built-in templates do not fully match your case requirements.
TODO: Screenshot - custom prompt editor with validation panel and mapped fields.
Before you start
- Define the exact output format needed by reviewers.
- Confirm field mappings and required permissions are in place.
- Prepare a benchmark sample set for quality checks.
Step-by-step
- Open Prompting > Create custom prompt.
- Write instructions with explicit allowed values and output format.
- Map outputs to review fields and save as a named template version.
- Run a small sample, review false positives/negatives, and revise.
- Promote the prompt to production only after reviewer sign-off.
Example
Example objective: classify privilege as YESPRIV or NOTPRIV and include one evidence sentence for reviewer validation.
