Chat Bot Mode
Use Chat Bot Mode when you need secure, general-purpose AI assistance inside Claira that is not tied to document coding templates.
What it does
- Creates persistent chat threads per user and per case.
- Lets you reopen any previous thread and continue where you left off.
- Streams answers in real time from the configured model.
Plan and token usage
- Chat Bot Mode is available on the Pro ($499) plan and above.
- Each message you send in Chat Bot Mode consumes 1 token.
- If your plan does not include Chat Bot Mode, Claira prompts you to upgrade.
- If you run out of tokens, Claira recommends an upgrade path to continue.
Scope and privacy
- Threads are scoped to your active case.
- Only your own case-scoped threads are shown to you.
- Chat Bot Mode follows your organization's feature rollout settings.
How to use it
- Open Chat Bot Mode in the main Claira workspace.
- Click New chat to start a thread.
- Ask your question in the message box and click Send.
- Select any saved thread in the left panel to continue it later.
Tips
- Start each thread with a clear topic so the auto-generated title is meaningful.
- Keep one thread per workstream (for example: chronology prep, witness summary, QA checks).
- Delete threads you no longer need to keep your list focused.
